“I’m really bad at tooting my own horn!”
I started telling stories at a young age, mostly made-up “mumbo-jumbo” that felt extremely real inside my head.
Realizing that my fathers mini-DV camera could connect to the family computer, I found that I could shape my own visual stories and let them manifest for everyone to see. Bribing my younger brother and cousins to star in my films, I unknowingly started something that could not be stopped.
Now, some twenty years later with hard work and sleepless nights, I still shape stories for everyone to see, doing what 8 year old Jonas dreamt of doing. Honored as I am, I have had the pleasure of working with a lot of talented people in the industry, having my work shown all over the world. There have even been some awards along the way.
Making films, whether behind the camera or in the editing bay, is a way for me to share my creativity and the stories I get to be a part of.
